Because it all started with a tavern dish that is still popular today, the radish. When Georg and Anna Böck started growing mushrooms and field vegetables in 1896, the “Böck'sche Radi” was also among them, which soon became regionally popular. Soon it was explicitly requested in the city's beer gardens because of its quality and taste.

More than a century later, a lot has changed: one hectare of cultivation area has become 100; radishes, mushrooms and Co. have become a wide range of the finest salads, pot herbs, various tomatoes, fruit vegetables such as cucumbers, aubergines, peppers, courgettes and beans, as well as various types of cabbage ...
