Rustichella d'Abruzzo Tortiglioni - Slightly curved tubes about four centimetres long and a diameter of just over one centimetre. This type of short pasta with spiral grooves on the surface is often used as an alternative to spaghetti for "Pasta alla Carbonara" with crispy bacon and Pecorino cheese. They can also be used very well with concentrated tomato sauces.
Rustichella d'Abruzzo has been producing the finest pasta since 1924. In keeping with old traditions, the pasta is made from high-quality durum wheat and fresh spring water from the Abruzzo region. The dough is drawn through bronze plates and gently dried at a low temperature for up to 50 hours. This creates an excellent pasta with bite and a full-bodied flavour.
