MAR Nasal Spray

Please read the following instructions for use carefully, as they contain important information on what to consider when using this medical device. If you have any questions, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

1 ml isotonic solution contains 150 mg seawater as well as potassium dihydrogen phosphate (to adjust the pH value) and highly purified water as well as 30 mg dexpanthenol. 1 spray corresponds to approx. 0.14 ml solution. Without preservatives.

Dosage form and content

Solution for spraying into the nose. Bottle with 20 ml solution corresponds to approx. 140 sprays.

Fields of application

Supports the healing of irritated and sore nasal mucosa. For moistening, cleaning and care of the nasal mucosa, e.g. as an accompanying measure for colds and nasal congestion. MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care is also suitable for children and infants.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

No precautions are necessary when using MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care. There is no indication of a special risk during pregnancy or breastfeeding when used as directed.

Interactions with other agents

None known.

Dosage instructions, type and duration of use

In what dosage and how often should you use MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care?
Depending on your needs, apply 1-2 sprays into each nostril one to several times a day.

How should you use MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care?
Remove the protective cap. Take the spray bottle in your hand and press the spray mechanism several times until a fine mist is released. You do not need to repeat this process for subsequent applications, as MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care is now ready for further use. For each application, insert the nasal adapter into the nostril and press the spray mechanism 1-2 times, inhaling gently through the nose. If you are using another nasal spray at the same time (e.g. with decongestant effect), you should use MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care beforehand. The removable filling quantity is at least 20 ml. Since the riser pipe for the pump mechanism is slightly bent at the bottom, the remaining quantity is recorded when the bottle is held upright or at an angle during use, but flows back into the bottle after the spray. For this reason, the actual (technical) filling quantity is greater than 20 ml - this ensures that the declared 20 ml can be easily removed.

Note on use

For hygienic reasons, the nasal adapter should be wiped clean and kept dry. Each unit should only be used by one person.

MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care is manufactured without preservatives and filled into a container with a special application system. In order to guarantee the perfect quality of the product and the function of the application system, the overall system of the spray bottle must not be tampered with (e.g. separation of the pump head from the bottle).

How long should you use MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care?
Use MAR Nasal Spray PLUS Care until your symptoms subside. MAR plus nasal care spray can be used for a longer period of time if necessary.

Notes and information on the shelf life of the medical device

The expiry date of this pack is printed on the folding box and the label. Do not use this pack after this date! Do not use for more than 6 months after opening.
