“Bioland from the start” – this quality and life motto has been lived by Bio Hof Watzkendorf since 1996. Among other things, organic-biological vegetables, various herbs, and young plants are cultivated. From the seed to natural bee honey to vegetables – they have the entire production in their own hands.

In a region shaped by the Ice Age, which poses a challenge for vegetable cultivation due to its continental climate, Bioland vegetable cultivation at Hof Watzkendorf is steadily growing. They stand for diversity in the area, biodiversity at the field edge, nutrients from their own operational cycle, and knowledge transfer on organic-biological vegetable cultivation.

Additionally, they sow soil-enhancing green manures and insect-friendly flower mixtures, “because horticulture and environmental protection go hand in hand with us – people and plants should feel good with us.”
