Stryphnasal N Nasal Sticks

Ingredients

1 stick of 1.0 g contains: Hard fat, Basic bismuth gallate, Tannin.

Properties

Stryphnasal N Nasal Sticks are used for the mechanical stopping of nosebleeds. The nasal stick should remain in the nose for at least 10 to 15 minutes. The mechanical pressure of the stick compresses the burst blood vessel. The bleeding stops. The hard fat contained in the nasal sticks melts at body temperature. This lightly greases and softens the nasal mucosa. When removing the remaining stick, the wound closure is protected in this way and the wound does not start to bleed again.

Application

First, remove a Stryphnasal N Nasal Stick from the plastic film. While sitting (not lying down!), carefully insert the stick with the tip first into the bleeding nostril. Then hold a tissue or cotton ball underneath and gently press the stick into the nose. Once the bleeding has stopped, the unmelted part can be easily removed. If left in the nose for a longer period of time, the stick will melt completely.

Precautions for use

Stryphnasal N Nasal Sticks should not be used if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Hypersensitivity reactions cannot be ruled out during use; the sticks should not be used again in such cases. While the nasal stick is in the nose, the patient should sit or stand and not lie down. When using on children, make sure that the nasal stick is not pushed too deeply into the nostril. Severe or frequent nosebleeds or nosebleeds after accidents can have serious causes. In such cases, the cause must be clarified by a specialist.

Important notes

The expiry date of this pack is printed on the folding box and the plastic mould. Do not use this pack after this date. Do not use Stryphnasal N Nasal Sticks if they have melted in the mould due to heat and have taken on a sharp shape. Do not reuse used Stryphnasal N Nasal Sticks. Stryphnasal N Nasal Sticks should be protected from heat (sunlight or heating). Keep out of reach of children. Do not store above 25°C! Stryphnasal N Nasal Sticks are available from pharmacies.

Tips for removing the sticks from the plastic film

Stryphnasal N Nasal Sticks are hard fat sticks that are packaged in bars of 5 nasal sticks. The 5 sticks are individually separated from each other with their respective packaging by a tear-off perforation, so that they can be removed individually. To remove the stick, you can simply pull the double plastic film apart at the upper grooved end with both hands. As preparation, it is recommended to separate a bar of 5 into 5 individually packaged nasal sticks and to bend the doubly grooved part apart a little. Prepared in this way, it should be easy to remove, even in the case of nosebleeds.
