Intended purpose

Chlamydia rapid test for use by women. The cyclotest Chlamydia Rapid Test is used to detect the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis in women. The smear test is designed for self-use by taking a smear from the cervix. You only wait 15 minutes for the test result. The result can be read within 20 minutes!

Field of application

For the rapid and reliable determination of a possible chlamydia infection in case of a desire to have children or specific symptoms. The reliability of the cyclotest Chlamydia test, a rapid test, is very high (diagnostic sensitivity of 85.7%, diagnostic specificity of 98.3%) and it can be used to reliably determine whether there is an infection with the sexually transmitted disease chlamydia. Chlamydia can lead to infertility if left untreated. For sampling from the cervix, suitable for use by women only. Not suitable for use by pregnant women.
