1. WHAT ARE STILAXX COUGH DROPS?

The plant extracts contained in Stilaxx Cough Drops create a physical protective film on the mucous membranes due to their mucilages, which relieves the coughing irritation.
Stilaxx Cough Drops are used to treat dry, irritating coughs. Stilaxx Cough Drops are herbal, as well as alcohol-free and sugar-free.

2. WHAT DO STILAXX COUGH DROPS CONTAIN?

One Stilaxx Cough Drop contains:

• 50 mg Icelandic moss dry extract
• 50 mg marshmallow root dry extract
• 25 mg liquorice root dry extract

Other ingredients are

Sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, sucralose, magnesium stearate, sorbitol, xanthan, flavouring. Stilaxx Cough Drops are free from artificial colours and flavours, lactose and gluten.

3. WHAT ARE STILAXX COUGH DROPS USED FOR?

The ingredients of Stilaxx Cough Drops form a protective film by sucking and spread like a balm over the mucous membrane in the throat and pharynx, so that the irritated mucous membrane is protected and can recover more quickly due to the irritation-relieving effect of the mucilages. Stilaxx Cough Drops are used for irritating coughs and associated irritation of the mucous membrane in the throat and pharynx, such as coughing and sore throat. Stilaxx Cough Drops get their irritation-relieving effect from the natural plant extracts of Icelandic moss, marshmallow root and liquorice root. The 3-fold complex of the Iceland formula quickly and lastingly relieves the coughing irritation. Stilaxx Cough Drops are very well suited for daytime, but also for night-time. Due to the irritation-relieving effect of the mucilages after sucking, they ensure a peaceful and restful sleep.

4. HOW ARE STILAXX COUGH DROPS USED?

Always use Stilaxx Cough Drops in accordance with these instructions for use. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Age	Dosage
Children from 4 to 9 years	One Stilaxx Cough Drop twice a day.
Adolescents from 10 to 17 years	One Stilaxx Cough Drop 3 to 4 times a day.
Adults from 18 years	Up to 6 Stilaxx Cough Drops per day.

For children and toddlers from 1 to 3 years, Stilaxx Cough Suppressant Junior is recommended. Stilaxx Cough Drops are not suitable for children under 4 years. In general, it should be ensured that children have already acquired the ability to suck in a controlled manner.

Type of application

It is recommended to suck Stilaxx Cough Drops at intervals of at least 2 hours. Please suck Stilaxx Cough Drops slowly until they have completely dissolved, so that the 3-fold complex of the Iceland formula from Icelandic moss, marshmallow root and liquorice root can fully develop and spread. Please do not suck the lozenges while lying down, e.g. when falling asleep, as there is otherwise a risk of swallowing. Stilaxx Cough Drops should not be chewed or swallowed whole.

Joint use with other agents

The joint use with other products, such as herbal and chemical cold remedies or homeopathic remedies, is possible. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking medication (even if purchased by yourself).

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There is no evidence to suggest that use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated. If you are not sure, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Duration of use

Regular sucking of Stilaxx Cough Drops is crucial for sustainable treatment success. Stilaxx Cough Drops can also be sucked over a longer period of time if necessary due to their good tolerability. In general, the duration of treatment should be at least 5 days. For sustainable treatment success, it is advisable to continue treatment with Stilaxx Cough Drops for a few more days even after the irritating cough has subsided.

5. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

In sensitive individuals, gastrointestinal complaints, such as mild flatulence, may rarely occur. Due to the sugar substitute sorbitol, a laxative effect may occur if too large amounts are taken. No other side effects are known to date. If you nevertheless observe any side effects, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

6. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE USING STILAXX COUGH DROPS?

Stilaxx Cough Drops must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients of Stilaxx Cough Drops. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you suffer from any illnesses or allergies. If the symptoms do not improve or even worsen after 2 weeks at the latest, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist. Stilaxx Cough Drops contain high-quality plant extracts. Due to these plant extracts, the white lozenges have small black inclusions of the plant extracts. However, this has no influence on the high quality and the effect of Stilaxx Cough Drops.

7. HOW SHOULD STILAXX COUGH DROPS BE STORED AND HOW LONG CAN THEY BE KEPT?

The expiry date of Stilaxx Cough Drops is printed on the packaging. Do not use this product after the stated expiry date. After opening the tube, the product should be used within 4 weeks.

Storage instructions

Store Stilaxx Cough Drops dry and not above 25°C! Keep the product out of reach of children.
