Mode of action
The contained special plant extract from Icelandic moss consists of over 80% mucilage. It dissolves like a balm when sucked, spreads pleasantly in the mouth, throat and pharynx and forms a protective film, which protects the mucous membranes from irritation and attack. In addition, the flow of saliva is stimulated. The irritated mucous membranes can regenerate. Typical cold and throat ailments such as coughing and hoarseness as well as dry throat and pharyngeal mucous membranes, which can result in difficulty swallowing and sore throats, are relieved. When should ISLA JUNIOR not be used?
