Weleda Neurodoron Tablets
Active ingredients: Aurum metallicum praeparatum D10, Kalium phosphoricum D6, Ferrum-Quarz D2.

Dear patient, please read the entire package leaflet carefully, as it contains important information for you. This medicinal product is also available without a doctor's prescription. However, in order to achieve the best possible treatment success, Neurodoron must be used as prescribed.

1. WHAT IS NEURODORON AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Neurodoron is an anthroposophic medicinal product for nervous exhaustion and metabolic weakness. Areas of application: According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application include the harmonisation and stabilisation of the organism's constitution in cases of nervous exhaustion and metabolic weakness, e.g. nervousness, anxiety and restlessness, depressive mood, convalescence, headaches.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING NEURODORON?

Neurodoron Tablets must not be used:

• if you are hypersensitive to wheat starch,
• in children under 1 year of age due to the ingredient Mel (honey).

Precautions for use

If symptoms persist or are unclear, please consult a doctor.

Children

There is insufficient documented experience with the use of Neurodoron in children under 12 years of age. It should therefore not be used.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

As with all medicines, Neurodoron should only be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding after consulting a doctor.

Interactions with other medicinal products

None known. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Important information about certain ingredients of Neurodoron

This medicinal product contains lactose. Therefore, please only take it after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars. Wheat starch may contain small amounts of gluten, which are also considered tolerable for patients suffering from coeliac disease.

3. HOW TO TAKE NEURODORON?

Always take Neurodoron Tablets exactly as described in this package leaflet. If your doctor has not prescribed otherwise, the usual dose is: Take 1 tablet 3 - 4 times a day. Allow the tablets to dissolve in your mouth or take them with a little liquid.

Duration of use

The treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If there is no improvement within this period, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with a doctor.

If you forget to take Neurodoron

Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten to take the previous dose.

Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure how to use this medicine.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, Neurodoron can have side effects, although not everybody gets them. Wheat starch can cause hypersensitivity reactions.

If you notice any side effects, please contact your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects not listed in this package leaflet. You can also report side effects directly to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices, Dept. of Pharmacovigilance, Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger Allee 3, D-53175 Bonn, website: www.bfarm.de. By reporting side effects, you can help to provide more information about the safety of this medicine.

5. WHAT ELSE IS IMPORTANT?

Do not use the medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the blister pack and the folding box.

Composition

1 tablet contains: Active ingredients: Aurum metallicum praeparatum Trit. D10 (HAB, V. 6) 83.3 mg / Kalium phosphoricum Trit. D6 83.3 mg / Ferrum-Quarz Trit. D2 (HAB, SV 6) 8.3 mg. (1 g of the original substance contains: Ferrum sulfuricum 0.64 g; Mel 0.32 g; Vinum 0.02 g; Quarz 0.16 g.) Other ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, wheat starch, calcium behenate.
