NeoBianacid - Tablets
Effective against heartburn, protects the mucous membrane

NeoBianacid is a product based on plant and mineral molecular complexes, which has a protective and therefore pain-relieving effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach and oesophagus and thus rapidly counteracts the typical symptoms of irritated and inflamed mucous membrane such as heartburn, pain and acidity.

Areas of application

NeoBianacid is suitable for the treatment of complaints caused by acid, such as heartburn, pain, gastro-oesophageal reflux and gastritis. It is also suitable for the treatment of symptoms associated with dyspepsia (indigestion), such as heartburn, fullness and flatulence. NeoBianacid can be used prophylactically in situations that can cause irritation of the mucous membrane (taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/painkillers, in the case of psycho-physical stress, changes of season, unhealthy diet and lifestyle). The product can also be taken during pregnancy, breastfeeding and by children from 6 years of age. NeoBianacid is a gluten-free product with organically grown ingredients and a pleasant taste.

Mode of action

NeoBianacid forms a film with a barrier effect on the mucous membrane, which protects it from contact with gastric juice and irritating substances. NeoBianacid contains Poliprotect, a molecular complex from Aboca research with mucoadhesive properties. Poliprotect works through the synergy between the polysaccharide component (molecular weight > 20,000 Dalton) and the mineral component (limestone and nahcolite). The effect of Poliprotect is complemented by the antioxidant properties of the flavonoid component, which counteracts irritation caused by free radicals.

In combination with medicines

Thanks to its mechanism of action, NeoBianacid can be taken together with proton pump inhibitors and H2 antagonists, as well as during treatment breaks, after consultation with a doctor.

Instructions for use

Take one tablet as needed by letting it dissolve slowly in the mouth. In the case of gastro-oesophageal reflux, it is recommended to take one tablet after the main meals and one in the evening before going to bed. In the case of heartburn and fullness in connection with indigestion (dyspepsia), take one tablet after meals. In any case, the intake can be repeated several times a day as needed, even at shorter intervals. The product can be taken by children from the age of 6 years in the same dosage. The product can also be taken over a longer period of time. It is recommended not to use the product for longer than 6 months after opening. Close the bottle carefully after use.

Notes

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more of the ingredients. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist. It is recommended to take the product at least two hours apart from medicines, especially tetracyclines. The content of glycyrrhizin from liquorice is below the limit value that could possibly cause an increase in blood pressure. Store in a cool, dry place and protect from heat and light. Keep out of reach of children.

Functional components:

• Poliprotect: synergistic molecular complex of polysaccharides* (obtained from Aloe vera, Malva sylvestris and Althaea officinalis) and the natural minerals limestone and sodium hydrogen carbonate. Polysaccharide content (molecular weight > 20,000 Dalton) = 7.6% (40 mg per tablet).
• Flavonoid fraction* (obtained from Matricaria recutita and Glycyrrhiza glabra).
• Also contains: cane sugar*, gum arabic, natural mint flavour.
