What do Mastu suppositories contain?
Basic bismuth gallate, hard fat, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide (E171).

What do Mastu suppositories look like and how many suppositories are in a pack?
A pack contains 10 torpedo-shaped, slightly yellowish-green suppositories.

What are Mastu suppositories used for?
Mastu suppositories are a medical device for use with hemorrhoids. Mastu suppositories relieve symptoms such as irritation, itching, burning and oozing, which often occur in connection with hemorrhoidal disease and promote wound healing.

When and how should you use Mastu suppositories?
Insert 1 suppository 2 times a day - preferably after a bowel movement - into the anus or intestine. The duration of use of Mastu suppositories should not exceed 30 days.

When should you not use Mastu suppositories?
Mastu suppositories should not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients of the product.

What should you consider before or during use of Mastu suppositories?
In case of blood loss or suspicion of blood in the stool as well as in case of simultaneous occurrence of fever and pain, you should not use Mastu suppositories and consult your doctor. Please also talk to your doctor if you have persistent symptoms of hemorrhoids. The product is intended exclusively for use in the anal area and must not be taken orally.

What should you consider when using Mastu suppositories with other products?
Interactions with other products have not been reported to date. However, please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using or have recently used other medical devices or medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines. You should not use Mastu suppositories together with other rectally administered medicines or medical devices (e.g. other suppositories).

What should you consider during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
There is no experience with the use of Mastu suppositories during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, please talk to your doctor before using Mastu suppositories. He will carefully weigh the expected benefits against the risks and decide whether or not to use Mastu suppositories.

What should be considered for children and adolescents?
There is no experience with the use of Mastu suppositories in children and adolescents. Therefore, please talk to your doctor before using Mastu suppositories.

What side effects are possible?
Hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if any of the listed side effects affect you significantly or if you notice side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

How should Mastu suppositories be stored?
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use Mastu suppositories after the expiry date stated on the folding box and suppository bar. Do not store above +25°C.
