Product features
Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye dropsFor moistening the surface of the eye in case of dry and irritated eyes
Sodium hyaluronate 1 mg/ml, sterile, without preservatives
Fields of application
For moistening the surface of the eye in case of wetting disorders (such as dry, irritated or burning eyes) and for the relief and treatment of irritation caused by external influences (such as dry or air-conditioned environments, smoke, dust, pollen) as well as after surgical interventions on the eye. Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye drops can also be used with hard or soft contact lenses.Contraindications
Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye drops should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.Notes:
- Please note that your vision may be temporarily impaired immediately after instillation.
- Do not use Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye drops if the bottle is damaged.
- Do not use Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye drops at the same time as other preparations for use on the eye, as this may alter the effect of the preparations. If other eye drops/ointments are used, a time interval of approx. 30 minutes should generally be maintained between the applications of the different products.
- Please avoid touching the surface of the eye or other objects with the tip of the dropper to prevent external contamination/germ contamination.
- In very rare cases, corneal calcifications have been reported in connection with the use of eye drops with increased phosphate concentration in patients with severely damaged corneas. Hyaluron-ratiopharm eye drops contain only the physiological phosphate concentration, so that their applicability is not restricted even in the case of existing severe corneal disorders/damage. If additional eye drop preparations are used, their phosphate content should be taken into account in this context, as increased phosphate concentrations may be contained in antiglaucoma or antiallergic agents in particular.
