GeloRevoice lozenges contain

Xanthan, Carbomer, Sodium hyaluronate.

Other ingredients

Isomalt, Sodium hydrogen carbonate, Xylitol, Citric acid, Macrogol, Potassium monohydrogen phosphate, Zinc stearate, Silicon dioxide, Sucralose and flavours depending on the flavour variant GeloRevoice lozenges Cherry-Menthol: Flavours (cherry, menthol).

• GeloRevoice lozenges Cassis-Menthol: Flavours (cassis, menthol).
• GeloRevoice lozenges Grapefruit-Menthol: Flavours (orange-grapefruit, peppermint).
• GeloRevoice lozenges Elderflower-Menthol-free: Flavour (elderflower).

GeloRevoice lozenges are free from animal ingredients, as well as gluten- and lactose-free.

Content

GeloRevoice lozenges are available in pack sizes of 10, 20 and 60 lozenges. Please refer to the lozenge tube and the folding box for the flavour variant of this pack.

Application

GeloRevoice lozenges are used to protect the oral and pharyngeal mucosa. They are used to treat throat ailments such as hoarseness, scratching in the throat, coughing, as well as a dry mucous membrane and resulting sore throats or resulting unproductive, dry cough (so-called irritating cough). The causes of a dry and irritated oral and pharyngeal mucosa are very diverse, including:

• high vocal strain.
• restricted nasal breathing (e.g. due to a cold).
• dry air due to heating or air conditioning.
• pollen allergy (hay fever).
• smoking.

Mode of action

When sucked, GeloRevoice lozenges form a special Revoice Hydro-Depot by binding moisture. This contains gel-forming components such as hyaluronic acid. The Revoice Hydro-Depot adheres well to the mucous membrane and forms a protective film over the irritated areas. The slight effervescent effect and the special composition of the minerals stimulate the flow of saliva intensively. This is very important in order to distribute the formed Revoice Hydro-Depot evenly in the oral and pharyngeal cavity. Irritated areas can regenerate themselves. Symptoms such as hoarseness, scratching in the throat, coughing, as well as dry mucous membrane and resulting sore throats are relieved.

Contraindications and notes

GeloRevoice lozenges must not be used in case of known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. If you suffer from reduced saliva production, please consult your doctor or pharmacist before using GeloRevoice lozenges for the first time. Patients with the rare hereditary fructose intolerance should not use GeloRevoice lozenges, as isomalt is partially converted into fructose in the body. Please do not use GeloRevoice lozenges at the same time as other agents to be used in the mouth and throat. Please do not suck the lozenges while lying down, e.g. when falling asleep, as there is otherwise a risk of swallowing.

What should be considered for children?
Do not use in children under 6 years of age.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

GeloRevoice lozenges may be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

What else should be considered for certain patient groups?
Patients who must adhere to a low-salt diet should note that one GeloRevoice lozenge contains 3.2 mmol of sodium. GeloRevoice lozenges are sugar-free and suitable for diabetics.

Side effects

GeloRevoice lozenges may have a laxative effect and/or cause gastrointestinal problems if used excessively. Allergic reactions or hypersensitivity reactions may occur in correspondingly sensitive individuals.

Type and duration of

application

Instructions for use of GeloRevoice lozenges

Please suck GeloRevoice lozenges slowly until they have completely dissolved, so that the Revoice Hydro-Depot can fully develop and distribute itself. The lozenges should not be chewed or swallowed whole.

How often should you use GeloRevoice lozenges?
Depending on your needs, you can suck one GeloRevoice lozenge several times a day, e.g. every 2 - 3 hours. Up to 6 lozenges can be used daily. We recommend taking them after meals.

How long can you use GeloRevoice lozenges?
GeloRevoice lozenges can be used over a longer period of time or for interval therapy. If your acute symptoms worsen (e.g. fever, swollen throat, aching limbs) or do not improve within 3 days, please consult your doctor.

Notes and information on shelf life

Do not use GeloRevoice lozenges after the expiry date.

Storage instructions

GeloRevoice lozenges should be stored below 25°C and dry. Please close the aluminium tube carefully after each removal of a lozenge. Store medical devices carefully! Keep out of reach of children!
