1. WHAT IS NATU-LIND 600 MG AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Natu-lind 600 mg is a herbal medicinal product for muscle and joint pain and for flushing the urinary tract. Natu-lind 600 mg is used for the supportive treatment of rheumatic complaints, for flushing in inflammatory diseases of the excretory urinary tract and as a flush to prevent kidney gravel. If there is blood in the urine, fever or if the symptoms persist for more than five days, a doctor should be consulted. In acute conditions, which are accompanied by redness, swelling or overheating of the joints, for example, and in persistent or frequently recurring complaints, a doctor should also be consulted.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING NATU-LIND 600 MG?

Natu-lind 600 mg must not be taken:

• if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to nettle leaves or any of the other ingredients of Natu–lind 600 mg.
• in the case of oedema (water retention in the tissue) as a result of impaired heart and kidney function.
• if a reduced fluid intake is recommended. This may be the case, for example, in severe heart or kidney disease.

Special care must be taken when taking Natu-lind 600 mg

Children under 12 years of age

There are no sufficiently documented studies on the use of this medicine in children under 12 years of age. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.

When taking Natu-lind 600 mg with other medicines

No interactions with other medicines are known. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

The medicine should not be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding due to insufficient research. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicines.

Driving and using machines

No special precautions are required.

Important information about certain other ingredients of Natu-lind 600 mg

This medicine contains glucose, lactose and sucrose (sugar). Please only take Natu-lind 600 mg after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

3. HOW TO TAKE NATU-LIND 600 MG?

Always take Natu-lind 600 mg exactly as described in this package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is: Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take one coated tablet twice a day.

Method of administration

Please take the coated tablets whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water). If Natu-lind 600 mg is used as part of a flushing therapy for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the excretory urinary tract or kidney gravel, it is important to drink plenty of fluids. Coffee, black tea or alcoholic beverages are not suitable for this purpose.

Duration of use

The duration of use is not limited in principle. Please note the information under section 1 ("Areas of application") and under section 4 ("Side effects"). Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Natu-lind 600 mg is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken more Natu-lind 600 mg than you should

There are no cases of poisoning. However, it is to be expected that the symptoms described under section 4 ("Side effects") will occur more frequently. The medicine should then be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

If you forget to take Natu-lind 600 mg

Do not take double the dose if you have forgotten to take the previous dose. Continue taking the medicine as described under section 3 ("Dosage").

If you stop taking Natu-lind 600 mg

Interrupting or prematurely ending treatment is harmless.

If you have any further questions about the use of the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, Natu-Iind 600 mg can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The following categories are used as a basis for the frequency of side effects:
Very common:	more than 1 in 10 treated persons
Common:	1 to 10 in 100 treated persons
Uncommon:	1 to 10 in 1,000 treated persons
Rare:	1 to 10 in 10,000 treated persons
Very rare:	less than 1 in 10,000 treated persons
Not known:	frequency cannot be estimated from the available data.

Possible side effects

Mild gastrointestinal complaints (e.g. nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea) and hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. itching, rash, hives) may occur. The frequency of side effects is not known.

5. HOW TO STORE NATU-LIND 600 MG?

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton/container after "use by". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Storage conditions: Do not store above 30°C.

What Natu-lind 600 mg contains

The active ingredient is dry extract of nettle leaves. One coated tablet contains 600 mg dry extract of nettle leaves (5-10:1); Extraction agent: Ethanol 50% (V/V). The other ingredients are: Sucrose (saccharose), microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, crospovidone type A, talc, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, hypromellose, gum arabic, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, glucose syrup, glycerol 85%, montan glycol wax, quinoline yellow (E104), indigo carmine (E132).
