1. WHAT IS NOMON MONO CAPSULES AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Nomon mono capsules is a traditional herbal medicinal product for strengthening or invigorating bladder function. Nomon mono capsules is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is registered exclusively on the basis of many years of use for the area of application.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING NOMON MONO CAPSULES?

Nomon mono capsules must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients of Nomon mono capsules.

Precautions when taking Nomon mono capsules

If signs of illness occur, especially recurrent urinary tract infections, sudden urinary retention or blood in the urine, a doctor should be consulted. If symptoms of illness continue or if side effects other than those mentioned in the package leaflet occur, a doctor or other healthcare professional should be consulted.

When taking Nomon mono capsules with other medicines

So far, no interactions between Nomon mono capsules and other medicines are known, and no studies on interactions of Nomon mono capsules with other medicines have been conducted. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There is no evidence of any risks from the widespread use of pumpkin seed oil as a medicine and food. However, there are no adequate studies on the use of Nomon mono capsules during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The use of Nomon mono capsules is therefore not recommended.

Driving and operating machinery

There are no known impairments caused by Nomon mono capsules.

Important information about certain other ingredients of Nomon mono capsules

This medicine contains lactose. Therefore, please only take Nomon mono capsules after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

3. HOW TO TAKE NOMON MONO CAPSULES?

Always take Nomon mono capsules exactly as directed by your doctor. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, adults should take 1 hard capsule 3 times a day. Please take the capsules unopened and unchewed with sufficient liquid (approx. 1 glass of water) after meals. Nomon mono capsules is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Nomon mono capsules should not be taken for longer than 12 weeks without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. Please note the information under "What you need to consider before taking Nomon mono capsules".

If you have taken more Nomon mono capsules than you should

In case of overdose with Nomon mono capsules, the gastrointestinal complaints and hypersensitivity reactions mentioned under "What side effects are possible?" may occur more frequently. If hypersensitivity reactions occur, the medicine must be discontinued.

If you forget to take Nomon mono capsules

Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten to take the previous dose, but take the same number of capsules as prescribed.

If you stop taking Nomon mono capsules

If it is necessary to interrupt treatment or discontinue it prematurely from a medical point of view, no undesirable consequences are to be expected.

If you have any further questions about the use of the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, Nomon mono capsules can have side effects, although not everybody gets them. The following frequency information is used to assess side effects

The following frequency categories are used for the frequency of side effects:
Very common:	more than 1 in 10 treated persons
Common:	1 to 10 in 100 treated persons
Uncommon:	1 to 10 in 1,000 treated persons
Rare:	1 to 10 in 10,000 treated persons
Very rare:	less than 1 in 10,000 treated persons
Not known:	frequency cannot be estimated from the available data.

When using this medicine, gastrointestinal complaints and hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes, hives, facial edema, lump and tightness with shortness of breath up to circulatory collapse (anaphylactic shock) may occur. The frequency of occurrence is not known.

5. HOW TO STORE NOMON MONO CAPSULES?

Keep medicines out of the reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister strip. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Do not store above 25°C and in the original package to protect the contents from moisture. The medicine must not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you no longer need it. This measure helps to protect the environment.

What Nomon mono capsules contains

1 hard capsule contains: Active ingredient: 105 mg dry extract from pumpkin seeds (15-30:1), extraction agent: ethanol 60% (v/v) Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur., vegetable), microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch (from corn starch), highly dispersed silicon, gelatin, purified water, sodium dodecyl sulfate, patent blue V, sodium salt (E131), titanium dioxide (E171), precipitated silicon dioxide.
