For use in children from 2 years of age and adults. Read the entire instructions for use carefully, as they contain important information for you. This medicine is available without a prescription. However, in order to achieve the best possible treatment success, IMUPRET N drops must be used as prescribed.
- Keep the instructions for use. You may want to read them again later.
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you need more information or advice.
- If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after one week, you must see a doctor.
- If any of the side effects listed affect you significantly or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

1. WHAT ARE IMUPRET N DROPS AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?
IMUPRET N drops is a traditional herbal medicinal product. IMUPRET N drops is traditionally used at the first signs and during a cold, e.g. scratching in the throat, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, coughing.
Note: IMUPRET N drops is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is registered for the area of application exclusively on the basis of many years of use.

2. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING IMUPRET N DROPS?

IMUPRET N drops MUST NOT be taken

- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to marshmallow root, chamomile flowers, horsetail herb, walnut leaves, yarrow herb, oak bark, dandelion herb or any of the other ingredients of IMUPRET N drops (other ingredients see under item 6 FURTHER INFORMATION).
Special care should be taken when taking IMUPRET N drops: If symptoms of illness persist or if side effects other than those mentioned in the package leaflet occur, you should consult a doctor or other qualified person in a medical profession. If symptoms persist for more than one week or if shortness of breath, fever, or purulent or bloody sputum occurs, a doctor should be consulted.
Children: IMUPRET N drops should not be given to children under 2 years of age.
Taking IMUPRET N drops with other medicines: Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines. When using preparations containing oak bark, the absorption of alkaloids and other basic drugs can be reduced or prevented. This medicinal product has not been investigated in this regard. There are no reports of clinical interactions between IMUPRET N drops and other medicinal products.
Taking IMUPRET N drops with food and drink: Not applicable.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Safety during pregnancy and breast-feeding has not been investigated.
IMUPRET N drops are not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Driving and operating machinery: No special precautions are required.

Important information about certain other ingredients of IMUPRET N drops

This medicinal product contains 19% (V/V) alcohol.

3. HOW TO TAKE IMUPRET N DROPS?

Always take IMUPRET N drops exactly as described in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The usual dose is

- Children under 2 years: Not intended for use.
- Children from 2-5 years: Single dose 10 drops, total daily dose 30-60 drops.
- Children from 6-11 years: Single dose 15 drops, total daily dose 45-90 drops.
- Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults: Single dose 25 drops, total daily dose 75-150 drops.
In acute illnesses, the single dose is taken 5-6 times a day and 3 times a day when symptoms improve. 25 drops correspond to 1.4 ml of medicine. For specific dosage recommendations in case of impaired renal/hepatic function, there is insufficient data.
Method of administration: It has proven effective to keep the drops in the mouth for a while before swallowing them. If necessary, the drops can be taken at the same time with some liquid (e.g. a glass of water). Hold the bottle upright to remove.
Duration of use: IMUPRET N drops should not be taken for more than 2 weeks in a row.
Please always observe the information under "Special care should be taken when taking IMUPRET N drops" as well as the information under "Side effects". Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of IMUPRET N drops is too strong or too weak.
If you have taken more IMUPRET N drops than you should: Poisonings have not been reported to date.

If you forget to take IMUPRET N drops

Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten to take the previous dose.
If you stop taking IMUPRET N drops: Discontinuing the medicine is generally harmless.
If you have any further questions about the use of the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, IMUPRET N drops can have side effects, although not everybody gets them. The following categories are used as a basis for the frequency of side effects

Rare:	1 to 10 in 10,000 treated
Very rare:	less than 1 in 10,000 treated
Not known:	frequency cannot be estimated from the available data.

Possible side effects: Allergic reactions (skin rash, circulatory problems) may occur. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur with chamomile flower-containing preparations, even in persons with hypersensitivity to other plants from the Compositae family (Compositae, e.g. mugwort, yarrow, chrysanthemum, daisy) due to so-called cross-reactions.
Gastrointestinal disorders may occur occasionally. If you observe these or other side effects, the preparation should be discontinued immediately and a doctor should be consulted. If you notice any other side effects, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

5. HOW SHOULD IMUPRET N DROPS BE STORED?
Keep medicines out of the reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Do not store above 25°C. Note on shelf life after opening: After opening the bottle, the medicine can be kept for another 6 months. Storage conditions: No special storage conditions are required for this medicine. As with all herbal medicines, IMUPRET N drops may become cloudy during prolonged storage.

6. FURTHER INFORMATION
What IMUPRET N drops contain: The active ingredients are: 100 ml of liquid for oral use contain
100 ml extract (1:38) from 2.6 g of a mixture of marshmallow root, oak bark, chamomile flowers, dandelion herb, horsetail herb, yarrow herb and walnut leaves (4:2:3:4:5:4:4); Ethanol 59% (V/V). Contains 19% (V/V) alcohol.

Note for diabetics: IMUPRET N drops contain less than 0.1 BE at a maximum total daily dose of 150 drops for adolescents from 12 years of age and adults.
