All-natural jam

Strawberry jam extra. The finest fruit jam made from sun-ripened strawberries, impresses with its natural and extra fruity taste, produced according to a traditional Austrian recipe. Made from 50g of fruit per 100g.

Darbo produces its all-natural jams based on an old family recipe: Klaus Darbo was the one who created the "Darbo Naturrein" line. Then as now, only high-quality fruits are gently heated and stirred. This preserves the natural fruit aroma. The high fruit content also ensures an unforgettable taste experience. Darbo's all-natural jams are made with fruit, sugar, concentrated lemon juice and the gelling agent pectin. "All-natural" is a protected term that, according to the food codex, jams may only bear if they are made exclusively from fruit, gelling sugar and lemon juice.

A few years after the introduction of the "Naturrein" line, Darbo became the most popular jam in Austria.

The family business Darbo was founded in Austria in 1879, where it is still based in Tyrol today. The company has focused on the production of jam, syrup, fruit jelly and honey.

The production of their fine fruit compositions begins where the best fruits grow. Whether collected in the wild or harvested in the field, the decision is made on site which fruits are good enough to be prepared at Darbo. Above all, the selection of suitable fruit varieties, which are cultivated under favourable conditions, cared for and picked at the ideal degree of ripeness, is of decisive importance. For example, particularly tender and flavourful apricots or wild cranberries and blueberries are used. The exquisite fruit creations from the best growing areas in the world are not only the result of decades of experience, but also of a head start in procuring high-quality fruits.
