Description
1 piece of whole mackerel, gutted.
The mackerel (lat. Scomber scombrus) is considered a very flavorful food fish, which is equally suitable for stewing, frying, grilling and smoking. The meat is reddish, aromatic and has a high fat content of 12 percent. The mackerel can be deboned relatively easily. Slightly leaking blood can settle in the packaging.
The relatively fatty fish is particularly suitable for grilling and for the typical skewered fish.
