Organic Natives Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This organic extra virgin olive oil from Gaea comes from Greece and is made from Koroneiki olives. It has a characteristic taste of fresh, green olives with a strong fruity note. Oleic acid content <0.5%. Ideal for fresh salads, grilled vegetables, fish, chicken or as a dip for fresh baguette or vegetables.

The Koroneiki olives are carefully and laboriously harvested by hand and cold-pressed within a few hours. This results in an olive oil of the highest quality with unique sensory properties and a great fresh aroma. This outstanding organic extra virgin olive oil is the result of a long-standing cooperation between GAEA and small organic farmers. They cultivate their olive groves 100% sustainably and meet all national and international requirements for organic farming.

First manufacturer worldwide to offer CO2-neutral, extra virgin olive oils
The company plays a major role in environmental protection. Together with the Swiss organization "myclimate", Gaea has analyzed its production processes in order to drastically reduce CO2 emissions. For the project, it was calculated which CO2 emissions are produced during the production of olive oil, from the cultivation and transport of the harvested olives, through processing and bottling to distribution to the trade. The emissions generated at each stage were added together to determine the total emissions per liter of olive oil and to take measures to reduce them. Through the cooperation with "myclimate", Gaea is now the first manufacturer worldwide to offer CO2-neutral, extra virgin olive oils. In addition, Gaea and "myclimate" are promoting international projects to reduce CO2 emissions in developing and emerging countries.
