These Calamari tubes are 3-4 thawed pieces, caught in the Northwest Pacific (FAO61) using trawls. They are perfect for frying, grilling, or stuffing and come packed in a protective atmosphere. Remember to remove the transparent “cartilage” before cooking. Store refrigerated between 0°C and +4°C and consume within 2 days.

Squid is one of the most popular seafoods worldwide. When it comes to squid, a basic distinction is made between squid and octopus (pulpo/octopus). The most striking difference is that squid have ten arms, while octopus have only eight. Our squid is caught in the Northwest Pacific.

There are many different ways to prepare squid. Simply fry the tubes with a little olive oil or grill them. However, a truly sensational variation is the stuffed tubes, as they are typically served in Sicily.

Or quite simply: Calamari fritti - we call it a classic!
