Weißburgunder Alto Adige DOC from Kellerei Kaltern offers a fresh, fruity style with aromas of Golden Delicious, pear, and quince. The wine is juicy with sharp acidity and a fruity finish. Kellerei Kaltern is a historic winegrowers' cooperative, whose history dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. In 2016, Erste+Neue Kellerei and Kellerei Kaltern merged to form the current winery, which is now considered one of the region's leading wine producers. Next to the winery is the new Vinothek and the modern winecenter, an ideal place for wine tastings and various events. Kellerei Kaltern offers cellar tours and tastings from early April to late October, every Wednesday at 5:00 PM and Friday at 10:00 AM. The winecenter is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Sundays open only in certain months). Kellerei Kaltern stands for highest quality and sustainability and offers its customers an unparalleled wine experience. Since 1908, Jubiläumskellerei Kaltern has been dedicated to winemaking, combining state-of-the-art cellar technology with living tradition. The grapes are tended with great care and dedication in the vineyard and harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. The diverse climatic and soil conditions around Lake Kaltern give the wines an unmistakable character. South Tyrol is one of the oldest wine-growing regions in the world, and Jubiläumskellerei Kaltern was founded in 1908. The Jubiläumskellerei exclusively produces wines with the DOC seal, which meets special origin and quality standards.
