Zeitloser Klassiker
Founded in 1785, Champagne Heidsieck & Co Monopole is one of the oldest champagne houses in the world. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was particularly appreciated by the European royal families and the Russian Tsar. In 1916, 3,000 bottles were sent to St. Petersburg to the Russian royal family. The cargo, along with cognac and Burgundy barrels, never arrived, as it was sunk by a German U-boat. It was not until July 1998 that 2,400 bottles of Heidsieck & Co Monopole vintage 1907 were recovered. Today, the champagne house Heidsieck & Co Monopole is one of the most successful champagne brands in Europe.
