For more than 200 years, Niederegger has stood for enjoyment, dedication and love - for its own products and its own tradition. In addition to the world-famous Niederegger marzipan, the product range also includes the finest nougat, exquisite pralines and delicate chocolate creations.
Niederegger - the beginnings
The family business was founded in 1806 by master confectioner Johann Georg Niederegger in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. He gave the company his name and created the recipe for the Niederegger marzipan, which is still known today. Only the most valuable almonds make it into the marzipan raw material, which we are the only premium manufacturer to produce ourselves.
