"Stylistically, the sparkling wine is a perfect addition to our range," says winemaker Mark Barth. The Pinot Blanc grapes grow on the loess soil typical of the Rheingau. The must ferments in a stainless steel tank to become the base wine for sparkling wine. The Pinot Blanc brut undergoes its second fermentation in the bottle. It rests on the yeast for 24 months before it is hand-shaken and disgorged. 100% organic and vegan.
With its creamy power, the Pinot Blanc brut goes particularly well with dishes made from boiled meat, such as Tafelspitz or roulades, as well as hearty vegetable dishes, such as ratatouille.
