For the unique 100% Arabica blend, each illy bean is individually selected. illy coffee is made from a blend of 9 different Arabica varieties, which come from different countries of origin. With the direct purchase model, illy selects the coffee farmers themselves and buys directly. In this way, long-term, cooperative relationships can be established with the growers and their efforts can be better rewarded with a price above the market average.
