The history of VAUX begins in 1868 in Berlin with the foundation of Schloss VAUX. Over the years, the company acquires Château VAUX, which is located on the Moselle and has extensive vineyards. In this way, an exclusive German "sparkling wine house" is created here.
After the domicile becomes French again, the owners move and build a new factory in the rose city of Eltville on the Rhine. From now on, Schloss VAUX specializes in the sparkling wine production of its top wines from the Rheingau.
