Natural organic hay milk, matured into a powerful semi-hard cheese with a fine, edible red smear rind, and on top of that the herb variety of an alpine farmer's garden! What sounds, smells and tastes irresistible.

Selected garden herbs from controlled organic cultivation are applied to the natural rind by hand.

The aromas of the herbs add an incomparable, wildly spicy crown to the classic hay milk cheese.

ONE-Love cheese tart with Baldauf Bauerngarten

Ingredients for 4 people

For the dough:
400 g flour
200 g Baldauf butter
Salt
Water

For the filling:
200 g Baldauf organic Bauerngarten cheese
200 g sour cream
200 g cream cheese
2 red peppers
1 zucchini
1 bunch of spring onions
1 bunch of flat-leaf parsley
3 eggs
Salt, pepper and nutmeg

Preparation:

Mix flour, butter and salt to a crumbly dough, add 6 tablespoons of water and knead until smooth.

Then wrap in cling film and let rest for half an hour.

Sauté chopped vegetables, season with salt and pepper and season to taste.

Line a greased tart tin with the dough. Spread the vegetables, together with the organic Bauerngarten cheese cut into cubes 2/3, evenly in the tin. Our tip: Cut the edible rind into small pieces and mix it with the cheese cubes, because this gives the tart more flavour.

Pour over a mixture of eggs, sour cream, cream cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
