Mochis are rice cakes originating from Japan, which are filled with bean paste, lotus roots, or whole fruits. Traditionally, these are eaten for New Year.

The company Little Moons, founded in 2010 by siblings Howard and Vivien Wong, has made it its mission to make the Japanese delicacy Mochi accessible to everyone. Through collaboration with first-class chefs and a childhood understanding of Mochis, they developed unique, frozen delicacies, which took the British confectionery market by storm. These extraordinary rice balls with a creamy ice cream filling have also been available on the German market since 2020 and are now also available at knuspr.de.
