Protected by its designation of origin, Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP is one of the most famous cheeses in Europe. Italians recognise the quality of a good mozzarella immediately by its porcelain-like skin and its full-bodied structure, which forms a liquid in the mouth, the so-called "latticello", which translates as buttermilk and releases a fine aroma of buffalo milk.

The producer is located in the province of Caserta in the Campania region. He has 60 years of experience in the dairy sector, which he combines with respect for the environment and animal welfare.
Because buffalo need special conditions: key factors for the well-being of the buffalo are access to water and freedom of movement, which incidentally also correlates with milk yield.
