The Lagrein is undoubtedly one of South Tyrol's leading varieties

The Lagrein DOC from Cantina Terlan impresses with its velvety soft structure, its balanced tannins and its very sustainable and pleasant taste. The red wine is reminiscent of violets and berries in its aroma. The Lagrein is a dry Italian from sunny South Tyrol with an alcohol content of 13%. The ideal drinking temperature is 18 °C.

It tastes excellent with braised lamb shank, for example.

The Cantina Terlan winery was founded in 1893 and is now one of the most successful wine cooperatives in South Tyrol. It currently has 143 members and has a cultivation area of 190 hectares. This results in a total bottled quantity of 1.5 million bottles per year. Together with the members, a strict quality course has been pursued for many years, which has brought renown and recognition from the Italian and international wine market. Despite its manageable size, the Terlan winery has thus advanced to become a permanent institution in the professional world.
