Clos Beauregard is an outstanding Pomerol, composed of 93% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. Once part of the neighboring Château Beauregard, this estate is located on the sandy slopes of the Pomerol plateau, benefiting from a unique terroir renowned for producing top-notch Bordeaux wines.

Tasting notes

Color: The wine shines with a deep purple color with elegant purple reflections.

Nose: The nose reveals a complex and intense aromatic palette with spicy and fruity notes reminiscent of blueberry and coffee.

Palate: On the palate, it is full-bodied, harmonious and develops long-lasting notes of blackberry jam. The texture is velvety, showcasing the full potential of the terroir.

Viticulture and vinification

Clos Beauregard is vinified according to traditional methods, highlighting its fine structure and elegant character. Since 2011, the estate has partnered with renowned oenologist Michel Rolland to fully express the potential of this unique terroir.

Terroir and location

The sandy soils of Clos Beauregard border the famous Château La Conseillante, giving the wine its unique structure and finesse. The Pomerol appellation, the smallest of the great Bordeaux appellations, is located northeast of Libourne and produces some of the most prestigious wines in the region, despite not being included in the 1885 classification.
