Preparation:
Cook for 4-5 minutes in water or in a rich tomato or white wine broth.

Note: Sort out opened or damaged mussels before preparation. Mussels open during cooking. Discard mussels that have not opened after cooking.
For mussels packed under a protective atmosphere, a little patience is required for the tap test. Because the living mussels virtually fall asleep in the packaging, which is why they may not close immediately after tapping. A quick wake-up call in a sieve under running cold water and a few minutes to acclimatize are enough, and the shell halves will be tightly closed again in no time.
This product is not suitable for freezing, as the mussels die when frozen and will no longer open during preparation!!!
