Quick Recipe: Pan-fried Scallops with Lemon Butter

Ingredients (for 2 people):
• 250 g MSC Scallops
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 tsp neutral oil
• Salt, pepper
• ½ organic lemon
• Optional: finely chopped parsley or chives

Preparation:

1. Pat the scallops dry – this ensures a perfect golden crust.

2. Heat oil in a hot pan and sear the scallops vigorously for approx. 1–1.5 minutes per side.

3. Add butter, swirl briefly and finish with a squeeze of lemon juice.

4. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

Serving suggestion: Pairs excellently with saffron risotto, tagliatelle in white wine cream sauce, or as an elegant appetizer on arugula.
