Naturlandhof Brandl

Agriculture has a long tradition at Naturlandhof Brandl. As early as the 17th century, there was a farm here where blacksmithing was also practiced. Hence the old house name "Beim Wallnerschmied". The stately residential building is about 200 years old and in top condition thanks to the Brandl family.

The conversion to organic farming began in 1982.
The farm's main focus is on cattle breeding, grain production, the production of meat and sausage products, and beekeeping.
You can't help but love the Brandl family. The care, consideration, reverence, conviction, and passion with which they run their farm is unparalleled.
The livestock is adapted to the size of the farm and comprises around 35 robust Aubrac cattle.

In keeping with the species-appropriate Haltung (cattle free-range on straw with access to pasture), natural feeding in conjunction with a diverse and balanced crop rotation is important and enjoys absolute priority.
This is the only way to create on-farm cycles that in turn enable diverse plant populations, good feed for the animals, and livelihoods for countless microorganisms and small creatures.
