Tony’s Chocolonely is a very special chocolate bar. Unfortunately, poor working conditions, child labor, unfair wages and even modern slavery are still commonplace in most supply chains in the cocoa industry today. Tony’s Chocolonely has set out to change that.
Tony's consciously chooses to work in Ghana and Ivory Coast. This is where the worst problems are, so this is where we want to have a positive impact. Tony's mission is to make 100% slave-free and fairly produced chocolate the norm. This is a very complex task and far from easy. That's why we lead by example, raise awareness and want to inspire others to join us.
