Rustichella d'Abruzzo Fettuccine - Made from durum wheat semolina and high-quality water, this classic of Italian cuisine goes well with "Bolognese" sauce, which is prepared according to traditional recipes with lean pork, veal and beef, minced meat cooked with lightly fried butter, bacon and herbs and cooked with broth, red wine and tomato sauce and generously sprinkled with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. The Rustichella d'Abruzzo durum wheat fettuccine can alternatively be seasoned with porcini mushrooms and truffles, seafood, bacon and peas instead of the meat sauce.
Rustichella d'Abruzzo has been producing the finest pasta since 1924. According to old tradition, the pasta is made from high-quality durum wheat and fresh spring water from the Abruzzo region. The dough is drawn through bronze plates and gently dried at a low temperature for up to 50 hours. This creates an excellent pasta with bite and a full-bodied flavour.
