"Grapes. Soil. Weather. Me." is how winemaker Marc Weinreich describes his philosophy and his motto for winemaking. For him, wine is not a science, but a passion. The Rheinhesse therefore follows no norms, but his gut feeling and his taste. He sees his wines as the origin of nature and his actions.

Uncomplicated, easy to drink and full of fun are the Weinreich wines and so is winemaker Marc himself. He is enthusiastic about the idea of producing wines completely naturally, as was once customary, without any frills or fining. His brother Jan, a realist and value-oriented, is the perfect counterbalance to Marc. Between extremely "freaky" and conventionally traditional, they found the perfect balance for their orange wines: natural wines full of light-heartedness and ease, which are fun.
