St. Antony ORGANIC Pinot Blanc 2023

White wine 12% Vol.

This organically grown Pinot Blanc shows aromas of pear, Cox Orange apple, Galia melon and banana peel. On the palate, herbal and salty minerality is added. Its dry taste and its crisp texture stand this expressive Pinot Blanc in good stead and ensure an elegant overall impression, which can be enjoyed in the long, juicy finish.

Serving recommendation: 8-11° 

Colour: rich, light yellow
Nose: ripe pear and its peel, slight exoticism through banana aroma, butter pastry
Palate: melon, pear, mellow apple, lots of smoothness 

Food Pairing: Goes perfectly with light fish dishes, crustaceans, poultry, salads with a strong note such as fennel or asparagus and Asian wok dishes.    

St. Antony Winery

ST.ANTONY was officially founded in 1920 by the "Gute Hoffnungshütte" here in Nierstein.

Since 1990 they have been a member of the Association of Prädikat Wine Estates (VDP), since 2006 they have been working certified organic and with the 2018 vintage they are also "demeter" certified. In cultivation there are 60 hectares of vineyards - primarily in the Roten Hang in Nierstein. In addition to Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, they also cultivate Pinot Noir and Blaufränkisch.

With the 2019 vintage, all machine work in the steep slopes was also dispensed with and they now cultivate everything by hand. In the cellar work is carried out carefully and with minimal intervention, in order to optimally capture and depict the character of the individual sites. The wines ferment spontaneously and are given all the time they need to develop to their full potential.

This and much more are the reasons for the uniqueness of their wines.
