Apis/Belladonna cum Mercurio, Globuli velati

Composition
10 g Globuli velati contain: Apis mellifica ex animale toto GI Dil. D4 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 41c), Atropa belladonna e fructibus ferm 33a Dil. D3 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33a), Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni Dil. D14 aquos. 0.1 g. Contains sucrose (saccharose/sugar) and lactose.

Contraindications

Do not use if you are known to be hypersensitive to bee venom.

Precautions for use and warnings

This medicine contains sucrose and lactose. Please only take Apis/Belladonna cum Mercurio after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed:

• Infants 1 to 3 times daily, in acute cases temporarily every 1 to 2 hours, allow 3 Globuli velati to dissolve under the tongue.
• Children under 6 years of age 1 to 3 times daily, in acute cases temporarily every 1 to 2 hours, allow 5 to 7 Globuli velati to dissolve under the tongue.
• Adults and children aged 6 years and over 1 to 3 times daily, in acute cases temporarily every 1 to 2 hours, allow 8 to 10 Globuli velati to dissolve under the tongue.

Duration of use

The treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If there is no improvement within 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with a doctor.

Side effects

It cannot be ruled out that in rare cases allergic reactions, such as temporary skin rashes or diarrhoea, can be triggered by the bee venom (Apis) contained in this medicine. In this case, Apis/Belladonna cum Mercurio should be discontinued.
