Isotonic sodium chloride inhalation solution (0.9% NaCl) - sterile.

Package sizes

20 x 2.5 ml; 60 x 2.5 ml; 120 x 2.5 ml; 10 x 5 ml; 20 x 5 ml.

Field of application

The Pari NaCl Inhalation Solution is a natural isotonic saline solution (0.9%), which is adapted to the human body fluids in its concentration. It can be used:

• to moisten the respiratory tract and as a supportive measure for colds such as cough or runny nose.
• as a carrier solution for diluting medicines that, according to the manufacturer's instructions, may be diluted with isotonic saline solution for inhalation (please refer to the package insert of the corresponding medicine for dilution instructions).

The Pari NaCl Inhalation Solution can also be used for infants, elderly people, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding when used as intended.

Contraindications

If you suffer from a hypersensitive bronchial system, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using it.

Type of application

Inhalation with jet nebulizer, ultrasonic nebulizer or membrane nebulizer. Observe the instructions for use of the nebulizer used.

Application temperature

Room temperature.

Dosage

As needed up to 4 times a day 2.5 ml to 5 ml.

Side effects

When inhaling saline solutions, patients with a hypersensitive bronchial system (e.g. asthma) may experience shortness of breath due to temporary constriction of the bronchi. In this case, discontinue therapy and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Do not use opened or damaged ampoules, discoloured or cloudy solutions. Since no preservatives are contained, opened ampoules must be disposed of immediately for hygienic safety. The inhalation solution must be disposed of after the expiry date. Keep out of reach of children.
