1. WHAT IS SIDROGA LÖWENZAHN-FETTVERDAUUNGSTEE AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee is a herbal medicinal product for digestive problems. Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee is used for disorders of the bile flow with digestive problems such as flatulence and a feeling of fullness, loss of appetite.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING SIDROGA LÖWENZAHN-FETTVERDAUUNGSTEE?

Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee must not be taken:

• If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to dandelion.
• if you have a blockage of the bile ducts, an intestinal obstruction or a gallbladder inflammation.

Special care must be taken when taking Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee:

• if the symptoms worsen, last for more than 7 days or recur periodically.
• If you suffer from gallstones. In this case, you should consult a doctor before taking it.

When taking Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee with other medicines

Interactions with other medicines have not been reported to date. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Children

There is no evidence of any risks from the widespread use of dandelion as a medicine or in food. However, there are no adequate studies on the use in children under 12 years of age. Therefore, taking Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

There is no evidence of any risks from the widespread use of dandelion as a medicine or in food. There are no adequate studies on the use during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Therefore, taking Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicines.

Driving and using machines

No special precautions are required.

3. HOW TO TAKE SIDROGA LÖWENZAHN-FETTVERDAUUNGSTEE?

Always take Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee exactly as described in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, drink one cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows 2 to 3 times a day to stimulate your appetite half an hour before meals, otherwise after meals.

Preparation

1 to 2 filter bags of Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee are poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml), left to infuse for about 10 to 15 minutes and the filter bags are removed.

Do not take Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee without medical advice if the symptoms persist for more than 7 days or recur periodically. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken a larger amount of Sidroga LöwenzahnFettverdauungstee than you should and you notice symptoms due to the higher dosage, please inform your doctor. He/she can decide on any necessary measures.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, Sidroga Löwenzahn-Fettverdauungstee can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects

As with all drugs containing bitter substances, complaints due to excessively acidic gastric juice can occur. In rare cases (in less than 1 in 1000 but more than 1 in 10000 treated patients), itching and skin redness may occur in case of hypersensitivity to dandelion. If you experience any of the side effects mentioned, you should stop using the medicine.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects not listed in this leaflet. 5. HOW TO STORE SIDROGA LÖWENZAHN-FETTVERDAUUNGSTEE?

Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Please do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the envelope/folding box after < Use by >. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Storage conditions: Please store the medicine in the original packaging to protect the contents from light and moisture.
