Rosatum Healing Ointment

Composition

10 g contain: Geranii aetheroleum 0.025 g, Rosae aetheroleum 0.005 g, aqueous colloidal silicon dioxide solution (corresponding to Silicea colloidalis 0.1 g) produced with citric acid monohydrate 2.8 g. Other ingredients: Liquid paraffin, white petroleum jelly, wool wax. Contains wool wax.

Contraindications

Rosatum Healing Ointment should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to geranium oil.

Precautions for use and warnings

When using the ointment during breastfeeding, any ointment residues should be removed from the breast before breastfeeding. Wool wax can trigger localized skin irritations (e.g. contact dermatitis).

Dosage and type of application

Unless otherwise prescribed, rub in the ointment 2 to 3 times a day or use as a dressing.

Duration of use

The treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If there is no improvement within this period, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with a doctor.

Side effects

In rare cases, allergic skin reactions may occur. The medicinal product should then be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
