Carmenthin for indigestion is a herbal medicinal product for indigestion. Carmenthin for indigestion is used for dyspeptic complaints, especially with mild cramps in the gastrointestinal tract, flatulence, feeling of fullness.
2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING CARMENTHIN FOR INDIGESTION?
Carmenthin for indigestion must not be taken:
- if you are known to be hypersensitive to peppermint, menthol, caraway, other umbellifers or any of the other ingredients of the medicine,
- if you have low stomach acid production (achlorhydria),
- if you have liver disease,
- if you have gallstones, inflammatory diseases in the bile duct area (cholangitis) or other gallbladder diseases.
Special care must be taken when taking Carmenthin for indigestion
Stomach and intestinal complaints can be signs of diseases that require medical clarification and treatment; therefore, if symptoms persist for more than 1 week or recur periodically, it is recommended to consult a doctor.Children

Method of application
For oral use. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is: Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 1 capsule twice a day. The capsules are taken whole with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water) at least 30 minutes before meals, preferably in the morning and at noon. You can also take the capsules without eating a meal later. The capsules must be swallowed whole, i.e. not damaged or chewed, so that the active ingredient is not released prematurely. 1 gastro-resistant soft capsule contains: Active ingredients: 90 mg peppermint oil and 50 mg caraway oil. The other ingredients are: gelatin polysuccinate; glycerol 85%; polysorbate 80; propylene glycol; glycerol monostearate 40 - 55; methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) (Ph. Eur.); medium-chain triglycerides; sodium dodecyl sulfate; sodium sulfate; sodium chloride; sorbitol (Ph. Eur.); titanium dioxide; iron(III) hydroxide-oxide x H2O; patent blue V; quinoline yellow.
