Contraindications

The medicinal product must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or excipients or to composite plants. For fundamental reasons, Traumeel S must not be used in case of progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, inflammatory connective tissue diseases (collagenoses), multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection or other autoimmune diseases. Precautions for use

Use during pregnancy and lactation: As with all medicinal products, homeopathic medicinal products should only be used during pregnancy and lactation after consulting a doctor. Use in children: There is insufficient documented experience with the use of this medicinal product in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Interactions

None known. General note: The effect of a homeopathic medicinal product can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in the lifestyle and by stimulants and luxury foods. If you are taking other medicines, ask your doctor.

Duration of treatment

Traumeel S should not be used for more than 3 weeks without medical advice.

Side effects

After using Traumeel S, salivation may occur; the product should then be discontinued. Due to the contained homeopathic active ingredient Mercurius solubilis (mercury), allergic reactions may occasionally occur. In individual cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur after taking Traumeel S; skin rash, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and a drop in blood pressure have been observed for medicinal products with preparations made from Echinacea (coneflower). In persons with hypersensitivity to composite plants (e.g. Arnica), hypersensitivity reactions (up to anaphylactic reaction) are possible in individual cases. Redness, swelling and pain at the injection site may occur temporarily. If side effects occur, the preparation should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. Note: When using a homeopathic medicinal product, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial worsening). In this case, you should stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor. If you notice any side effects not listed in the package leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Notes on expiry date and storage

Keep medicinal products out of the reach of children! The expiry date of this pack is printed on the container and outer packaging. Do not use this pack after this date. No special storage conditions are required for this medicinal product.

Composition

1 ampoule of 2.2 ml (= 2.2 g) contains: Active ingredients: Calendula officinalis Dil. D2 2.2 mg, Atropa bella-donna Dil. D2 2.2 mg, Aconitum napellus Dil. D2 1.32 mg, Bellis perennis Dil. D2 1.1 mg, Hypericum perforatum Dil. D2 0.66 mg, Echinacea Dil. D2 0.55 mg, Echinacea purpurea Dil. D2 0.55 mg, Symphytum officinale Dil. D6 2.2 mg, Matricaria recutita Dil. D3 2.2 mg, Achillea millefolium Dil. D3 2.2 mg, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni Dil. D6 aquos. 1.1 mg, Hepar sulfuris Dil. D6 aquos. 2.2 mg, Hamamelis virginiana Dil. D1 0.22 mg, Arnica montana Dil. D2 2.2 mg. Components 1 to 7 are potentiated together via the last stage, components 8 to 10 via the last 2 stages with water for injections. Other ingredients: Water for injections, sodium chloride.

Liquid dilution for injection, 10 and 50 ampoules; hospital pack with 100 ampoules of 2.2 ml.
