Product Description

Xailin Wash is available as a sterile eye wash solution in 5 ml single-dose containers.

Indications

Xailin Wash is suitable for:

• Treatment of superficial irritations of the eyelids and eyeball.
• Eye washing facilitates the removal of foreign bodies that irritate the eye, such as sand, mosquitoes, dust, pollen, make-up residues, and reduces the feeling of discomfort.
• Supportive treatment of infections, allergies, or inflammations of the eyelids, conjunctiva, and cornea.
• Daily and postoperative eye hygiene for children and adults.
• Xailin Wash provides eye wetting.

Precautions for use:

• Do not inject, do not swallow.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• If you wear contact lenses, you can use this product. However, it is necessary to remove the lenses before rinsing your eyes.
• Single use. The single-dose container must be used immediately after opening and disposed of after use.
• One vial can be used to treat both eyes.
• Wash hands carefully before rinsing eyes.
• Avoid touching eyes or eyelids with the tip of the vial.
• The effectiveness of eye drops or ointment may be impaired by the simultaneous use of the eye wash solution.
• In case of simultaneous treatment, wait 10 minutes between each application and always start with rinsing with Xailin Wash solution, unless your doctor advises otherwise.
• In the event of irritation or excessive tearing occurring, persisting, or worsening, discontinue use of the solution and consult a doctor promptly.

Storage instructions:

• Do not exceed the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
• Dispose of the single-dose container immediately after use.
• Do not reuse an already opened single-dose container.
• This medical product contains no preservatives, therefore reuse could entail the risk of using a contaminated solution.
• Store the single-dose containers at room temperature before opening.

How to use Xailin Wash?
2 - 8 eye washes daily. Make sure that the single-dose container has not been used or damaged. Then detach a single dose from the strip and open it by twisting the top part. The rinse is applied directly by jet, by gently squeezing the vial. It is recommended to pull the lower eyelid down, look up, pull the upper eyelid up, to distribute the solution evenly over the entire surface of the eye and thus remove foreign bodies that irritate the eye, increase the tear film and moisturize the tissue.
