Product description

Bacillol AF is an alcohol-based, ready-to-use disinfectant for residue-free disinfection of alcohol-resistant surfaces of non-invasive medical devices. In areas where a rapid contact and drying time and residue-free drying are necessary, as well as in the food sector and in sensitive, product-contacting areas.

Areas of application

Bacillol AF is an alcohol-based, ready-to-use disinfectant for residue-free disinfection of alcohol-resistant surfaces of non-invasive medical devices. In areas where a rapid contact and drying time and residue-free drying are necessary, as well as in the food sector and in sensitive, product-contacting areas.

Efficacy

Bactericidal (incl. salmonella and listeria), levurocidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal, limited virucidal (incl. HBV, HIV, HCV), limited virucidal PLUS.

Application

Bacillol AF is suitable for rapid disinfection of alcohol-resistant surfaces using the spray/wipe method, where not only a rapid effect but also residue-free drying is required. Bacillol AF is applied directly to the surface so that it is sufficiently wetted. Then distribute the product with a cloth and keep the surface moist during the entire contact time. Not suitable for acrylic glass (PMMA) or alcohol-sensitive lacquers. For sensitive surfaces, carry out a compatibility test on an inconspicuous area.

Note
Not for disinfection of invasive medical devices. The amount of ready-to-use solution applied must not exceed 50 ml per m2 of surface to be treated. The total amount applied per room must not exceed 100 ml per m2 of floor space. Disinfection should only be started if there are no flammable vapours or gases (e.g. petrol, ether) in the room. If the electrical system cannot be completely de-energised, it must be ensured that no switching operations, especially automatic ones, can occur. Do not allow any disinfectant solution to enter the interior of electrical appliances. Hot surfaces must be sufficiently cooled. During application, the ventilation system (air conditioning) must be kept running or ventilation must be provided in some other way. Do not allow to enter watercourses undiluted.

Prevention

P210 Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.

P280 Wear eye protection/face protection.

Reaction

P305 + P351 + P338 + P310 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.

Disposal

P501 Dispose of contents/container to an approved waste disposal plant.

Shelf life after opening

12 months.

Active ingredients: Propan-1-ol 450 mg/g, Propan-2-ol 250 mg/g, Ethanol 47 mg/g.
