Carum carvi comp. infant suppositories

Composition

1 suppository of 1 g contains: Atropa belladonna ex herba ferm 33a Dil. D2 0.5 mg (HAB, Vs. 33a), concentrated aqueous extract from Carvi fructus sicc. (5:1) Extraction agent: Purified water, drug-extract ratio: 1.8:1 10.0 mg, Chamomilla recutita e radice ferm 33c Ø 0.5 mg (HAB, Vs. 33c), Nicotiana tabacum e foliis ferm 33b Dil. D4 0.5 mg (HAB, Vs. 33b). Other ingredients: Glycerol, hard fat, honey, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, yellow wax.

Indications

If no improvement occurs within 2 to 5 days, consult your doctor.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to:

• Chamomile or other composite plants.
• Caraway or other umbellifers such as anise, celery, coriander, dill and fennel.
• Belladonna or the other active ingredient contained.
• the other ingredients.

Dosage and type of application

Unless otherwise prescribed, infants under 1 year of age should be given 1 suppository 1 to 3 times a day, inserted into the rectum.

Duration of use

The treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 1 week. If no improvement occurs within 2 to 5 days, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with a doctor.

Side effects

When using this medicine, there may be a temporary change in breathing rate or increased fatigue. In these cases, please stop taking the preparation and consult a doctor.
