1. WHAT IS TAUMEA AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Taumea is a homeopathic medicinal product. The area of application of Taumea is derived from the homeopathic medicinal product images. This includes: Improvement of symptoms in case of dizziness. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

2. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING TAUMEA?

Taumea must not be taken:

• if you are an alcoholic.
• if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.
• by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Warnings and precautions

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Taumea. In case of sudden or repeated dizziness, hearing or visual disturbances, as well as tinnitus, a doctor should be consulted.

Children and adolescents

Children and adolescents up to the age of 18 years must not take the medicine, as there is not yet sufficient experience for this age group.

Taking Taumea with other medicines

No medicines are known that influence Taumea or are influenced by Taumea. The effect of a homeopathic medicinal product can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in the lifestyle and by stimulants and luxury foods. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines, have recently taken other medicines or intend to take other medicines.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

As there is no sufficiently documented experience with taking the medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding, Taumea should only be taken after consulting a doctor.

Driving and using machines

No impairments are to be expected if Taumea is taken as recommended.

Taumea contains 18% alcohol by volume

3. HOW TO TAKE TAUMEA?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this package leaflet or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose for adults is:

• in acute conditions every half to whole hour, maximum 6 times a day, 5 drops each. Taking the medicine for more than one week should only be done after consulting a doctor or therapist experienced in homeopathy.
• in chronic conditions 1 to 3 times a day, 5 drops each. If the symptoms improve, the frequency of taking the medicine should be reduced.

The drops are taken undiluted and independently of meals. Homeopathic medicines should also not be taken for a long period of time without medical advice.

If you have taken more Taumea than you should

Taking larger amounts of the medicine can lead to alcohol poisoning, especially in small children. In this case, a doctor should be consulted immediately. If the entire contents of the bottle of 10 ml, 30 ml or 50 ml are taken, approximately 1.4 g, 4.2 g or 7.0 g of alcohol are ingested.

If you forget to take Taumea

Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take the previous dose. If you have forgotten to take Taumea once or have taken too little, please continue taking the medicine as described in the dosage instructions the next time.

If you have any further questions about taking this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Side effects are not yet known for Taumea. When taking a homeopathic medicinal product, the existing symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial worsening). In this case, the medicine should be discontinued and the doctor consulted.

Reporting of side effects

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects not listed in this package leaflet. You can also report side effects directly to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices, Department of Pharmacovigilance, Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger Allee 3, D-53175 Bonn, website: www.bfarm.de. By reporting side effects, you can help provide more information about the safety of this medicine.

5. HOW TO STORE TAUMEA?

Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label and carton after "Use by". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated. Do not use Taumea for more than 6 months after opening.

6. CONTENTS OF THE PACK AND OTHER INFORMATION

What Taumea contains

The active ingredients are: Anamirta Cocculus Dil. D4 and Gelsemium Sempervirens Dil. D5. 10 g (= 10.23 ml) Taumea contain 1.0 g Anamirta Cocculus Dil. D4 and 1.0 g Gelsemium Sempervirens Dil. D5. The other ingredients are ethanol 94% (m/m) and purified water. 1 g corresponds to 19 drops.

What Taumea looks like and contents of the pack

Taumea is a clear, colourless liquid and is available in packs of 10 ml, 30 ml and 50 ml.
