Visiodoron Malva single-dose eye drops with sodium hyaluronate and mallow extract

Description

Visiodoron Malva eye drops contain natural, genetically unmodified hyaluronic acid and an extract from mallow flowers from controlled organic cultivation. Visiodoron Malva eye drops do not contain any preservatives, are therefore particularly well tolerated, can be used over a longer period of time and are suitable for contact lenses.

Application

Sodium hyaluronate stabilises the tear film and mallow extract soothes and moisturises. This specific formulation, developed by Weleda, moistens, soothes and refreshes dry and irritated eyes.
Dry and irritated eyes are often caused by:

• Environmental influences, e.g. air conditioning, dryness, wind, cold, air pollution, pollen;
• Overexertion of the eyes, e.g. intensive screen work, long car journeys;
• Mechanical stress, e.g. wearing contact lenses, diagnostic interventions on the eye;
• Regular intake of certain medications;
• Decreased tear production in old age.

Composition

0.15 % sodium hyaluronate, 0.5 % extract from mallow flowers (Malva sylvestris L.), citrate buffer, sodium chloride, water for injections.

Dosage and instructions for use

Instil 1 - 2 drops into each eye as required. To do this, separate a single-dose container and make sure that it is undamaged, otherwise the sterility of the contents can no longer be guaranteed. To open, twist off the flat end (do not pull).

Restrictions on use

People who are allergic to any of the ingredients of Visiodoron Malva should avoid using it.

Precautions and warnings

Each single-dose container is intended for single use only. Do not use any leftovers, as no preservatives are contained. Avoid contact of the container with the eye.
After use, visual acuity may be slightly reduced for a short time. In this case, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery until normal visual acuity has returned.
When using HydroGel contact lenses, please remove the lenses before using Visiodoron Malva and reinsert them approx. 10 minutes after instillation.
Visiodoron Malva should be kept out of reach of children. The eye drops may only be used up to the expiry date stated on the single-dose container and the folding box.

Store between 2°C and 25°C. Protect from frost.
