Contraindications

For fundamental reasons, Traumeel S must not be taken in the case of progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukaemia or leukaemia-like diseases (leukaemias), inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue (collagenoses), multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection or other autoimmune diseases. Traumeel S must not be used in the case of known hypersensitivity to Achillea millefolium (yarrow), Matricaria recutita (camomile), Calendula officinalis (marigold), Bellis perennis (daisy), Echinacea (coneflower), Arnica montana (mountain arnica) or other composite plants.

Precautions for use

Use during pregnancy and lactation

As with all medicinal products, homeopathic medicinal products should only be used during pregnancy and lactation after consulting a doctor.

Interactions

The effect of a homeopathic medicinal product can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in the lifestyle and by stimulants and luxury foods. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Warnings

This medicinal product contains lactose. Therefore, please only take it after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars. 1 tablet = 0.025 BE.

Duration of treatment

Traumeel S should not be taken for longer than 8 weeks without medical advice.

Side effects

Salivation may occur after using Traumeel S; the product should then be discontinued. Allergic reactions may occasionally occur due to the homeopathic active ingredient Mercurius solubilis (mercury). In individual cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Skin rash, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and a drop in blood pressure have been observed for medicinal products with preparations made from coneflower (Echinacea). In these cases, you should discontinue use of the medicinal product and consult your doctor. If side effects occur, the product should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Note: When using a homeopathic medicinal product, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial worsening). In this case, you should discontinue use of the medicinal product and consult your doctor.

Information on expiry date and storage

Keep medicinal products out of the reach of children! The expiry date of this pack is printed on the container and outer packaging. Do not use this pack after this date. No special storage conditions are required for this medicinal product. Shelf life after opening: 12 months.

Composition

1 tablet contains: Active ingredients: Achillea millefolium Trit. D3 15 mg, Atropa bella-donna Trit. D4 75 mg, Aconitum napellus Trit. D3 30 mg, Matricaria recutita Trit. D3 24 mg, Symphytum officinale Trit. D8 24 mg, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni Trit. D8 30 mg, Hepar sulfuris Trit. D8 30 mg, Calendula officinalis Trit. D2 15 mg, Hamamelis virginiana Trit. D2 15 mg, Bellis perennis Trit. D2 6 mg, Echinacea Trit. D2 6 mg, Echinacea purpurea Trit. D2 6 mg, Hypericum perforatum Trit. D2 3 mg, Arnica montana Trit. D2 15 mg. Active ingredients 1 to 7 are potentiated together via the penultimate stage and active ingredients 1 to 13 via the final stage. Other ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.
